What is a "Bath Party"?

Bath Party

Make lotions, bath salts, body oils, body scrubs, or room fresheners in this hands on party! Using all natural ingredients, you choose your own scents to customized the product of your choice. The bath party typically lasts one hour for every five or six participants, and includes all salts, oils, herbs, and other necessary ingredients. It's like bringing "Bath Junkie" to your home.

Mix your own salts! For use in the bath or kitchen, making salts is a fun and rewarding activity. Make bath salts, body scrubs, or cooking salts.

Bring creativity and pampering to your next girls night! Akin to the original "Salt-making Party," the Girls Night In brings you everything you need to make bath salts, body scrubs, or body oils.

Kids Concoctions Party

Kids love making things, and mixing up potions is no exception. Instead of salt, parents often choose sugar as the baseline for a special creation (unrefined sugar available).

Teenage Witch Party – Great for Sweet Sixteens!

Get your teenager to channel that energy into creative endeavors that promote health and well-being. Gather your teen with her friends and have them make bath salts, body scrubs, body oils, incense, room sprays and more! Great for birthday parties, to reward good grades, or any other celebration.

Goddess Party

In this women-only ceremony we use essential oils and herbs to create bath salts, body oils, or incense. I provide all supplies, including jars or bottles, essential oils, base oil, salts, and herbs. This ceremony runs the gamut of moods; it can be a fun casual experience among girlfriends, a healing ritual, or pretty much anything in between.

How does it work?
Choose your party audience and theme (girls night in, etc), and then contact me to discuss all the options! From the salts to the herbs to the oils, you can work with the basics or create an abundance of options!

Options
"Basic" options are recommended for very large parties and festivals, and are generally included with the initial party fee. Any category can be expanded to include more variety; the basics are described here.

Salt Selection - San Diego Sea Salt or Epsom Salt

Essential Oil Selection - Ten Classic Scents, including peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus, and many more!

Herb Selection - Five Classic Bath Herbs, like green tea, rose petals, and more!

Carrier Oils (Base for making products) - Grapeseed or Olive Oil

Jars, Bottles, and Containers - Two Shapes of Glass Jars to Choose From

All parties are entirely customizable, and if you have a question or request, just ask! I am happy to work with you to create the party you envision.

I can arrange musicians, flowers, bar tenders, caterers, massage therapists, belly dancers, henna artists, or pretty much any other service providers or entertainers to add to your event. I can come in costume - think mermaids, goddesses, witches, or anything else you might imagine. Just let me know, I will work with you to create your ideal party or event!

Pricing

Party Fee

Pricing can be arranged to be one "all inclusive" fee by the hour, or per person.

House parties are $100 for the first hour and $75 for each additional hour. This includes ALL supplies, and each guest goes home with one or more personalized bath products. Please email me with your party idea and number of guests and I can tell you how much time we should need.

Prices can also be estimated per guest, which is usually about $20/person for the first 5 guests (5 guests minimum), $15/person for 6-10 guests, or $10/person for 10 or more guests. Again, this includes ALL supplies and materials. This is just an estimate and price changes depending on options selected, length of party, location, number of guests, and any other number of factors. Please contact me with your party idea for a quote.

I am available for festivals and corporate events as well, and the price is $150/hour, always including supplies and materials.

I am located in San Diego, California, but I am happy to travel to the destination of your choice. For parties beyond north San Diego (92126) and within a few hours drive, I typically charge a travel fee of $2/mile (one way), for time and expense. I am available to travel further - please contact me to discuss this option.

Weddings

Weddings are a great reason to celebrate with a "Salt Party"! In addition to the parties ideas below, I am an ordained Minister and am available to officiate wedding ceremonies!

Bachelorette Party

Looking for an alternative to bar hopping? Or maybe just looking for an activity to precede the night club? Either way, making personalized bath salts or body oils can be a fun activity to celebrate your solo life! The Bachelorette herself receives salts or oils from each guest, with sexy scents featured. Of course each guest also takes home her own bottle.

Bridal Shower

Prepare the bride-to-be for life as a newly-wed by making her a suite of products, such as relaxing bath salts for the day before the wedding, sexy body scrubs to keep her skin soft for the honeymoon, and inspiring room sprays for her new domicile.
